Happy Birthday Jason!!!
After several weeks of trying to get this trip coordinated, Jacob and I are finally leaving Misawa under Medical Evacuation Orders. Jacob and I are leaving Monday morning (Japan Time) for a 25 hour trip to make it back to Columbus, Ohio on Monday night. Jacob will be treated by the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Team at Children's Hospital in Columbus. His first appointment is Tuesday morning. We will be there for approximately 2-3 months.
Jason will be a bit lonely while we are gone, but thankfully, he will be coming to see us for the month of May. Thank goodness for web-cams! Our poor mama-san, Tanaka, was DEVASTATED when I told her Jacob was leaving for a couple months. She's such a sweet lady. And we will miss all of our friends and home in Misawa. We will keep everyone posted on our adventures in the States and Jacob's progress.

I know Jason will miss you all bunches, but I am sure your family is pleased as pie to see you guys for a while. I hope all goes well, and Jacob progresses very quickly!! We will be praying for the little guy and for the both of you as well!
Jason and Suzie - Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Jacob as you venture back to the States to go through PT. Please keep us posted and we will be praying for a quick progression for Jacob.
