WOW! Can you even believe it??? Look who turned 1!!!!
Jacob and I are still in the States. We are planning on leaving next Wednesday, July 30 to return to Jason and our home in Japan. We were hoping to be back by now to celebrate Jacob's 1st Birthday together, but we'll just be a week behind. Jacob has improved SO much the past 4 months we have been in the States and receiving Physical Therapy. He now weighs almost 20 pounds, is 28 inches, is crawling and cruising and pulling up on anything that stands still. His torticollis has gone from a "severe case" to a "mild" one. We are at a stage in which we can go to back Japan and continue his stretches and exercises ourselves.
Jacob has had several birthday parties already and has a couple more to come. He LOVES cake and will wonder soon, why he doesn't get some once a week. I have so many pics and more stories to share, but I have to go run after a One Year Old that has decided to re-file his Grandpa Bob's pile of paperwork. I'll try to get a blog out before we leave the States next week, or as soon as we get back to Japan.
